Utah County Real Estate Rebounding

Real Estate in Utah County, Utah continues to improve. February home sales were up nearly 16% compared with February of last year, and up 17% from last month.During February 294 residential homes sold. These listings had a median price of $195,500 and average price at $231,495.

Perhaps the most impressive statistic is that Total Real Estate inventory only increased by 45 new listings. March and April typically have floods of new home listings. While, there has still been a lot of new listings, 1,065 in the last month, there has also been a large increase in the number of homes that have gone under contract. There are currently 945 homes in Utah County with accepted real estate offers. This is a lot of homes that will be closing in the near future, especially considering that there were only 514 homes sold in Utah County during the first two months of the year.
